During tests on BYD\u2019s new Han L sedan, the platform delivered a game-changing five-minute charge, bringing electric refueling times in line with traditional gasoline fill-ups.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tNotably, the 10 C charging rate capability is the highest of any battery currently mass-produced. The \u2018C\u2019 is an indicator of the ratio of battery size to charging power. With 1C, an 80 kWh battery can be charged with a maximum of 80 kW. At 5C, the same battery can theoretically be charged with five times the charging power \u2013 i.e. up to 400 kW.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
