Made-in-India Maruti e Vitara<\/a> exports have officially begun, and it\u2019s rolling out from Gujarat with a lot more than just four wheels and a battery. <\/span><\/p>

This is Maruti Suzuki\u2019s<\/a> first all\u2011electricSUV, and it\u2019s already making waves in Maruti e Vitara Europe markets. <\/span><\/p>

Over 2,900 units have been shipped from Pipavav Port in Gujarat to 12 European countries, marking a proud moment for both the company and India\u2019s growing EV industry.<\/span><\/p>

Where is Maruti e Vitara Being Made?<\/span><\/h2>

\"MarutiThe e Vitara is built at Maruti Suzuki\u2019s Hansalpur facility in Gujarat, a plant that\u2019s quickly becoming the company\u2019s EV nerve center. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself flagged off the first unit on August 26, calling Maruti a \u201cbrand ambassador\u201d of the Make in India initiative.<\/span><\/p>

This Maruti Gujarat plant export is no small feat\u2014it\u2019s the first time Maruti has shipped an electric SUV to Europe, and it\u2019s doing so with a model designed from the ground up on Suzuki\u2019s new HEARTECT\u2011e EV platform.<\/span><\/p>
