\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTata Motors<\/a> received the Safer Choice Award 2024 from Global NCAP. Last year, the Harrier<\/a> and the Safari<\/a> scored the highest Global NCAP rating in crash tests of 5 stars for adult and child occupant protection.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tGlobal NCAP today presented Tata Motors<\/a> with their Safer Choice Award for the Tata Safari<\/a> and Harrier<\/a> – an accolade only available to automakers committing to the highest levels of safety performance for cars sold in India.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe SUVs achieved for both adult and child occupant protection the highest score in both categories. Last year, the Tata Safari<\/a> and Harrier<\/a> achieved a five-star Global NCAP rating for adult and child occupant protection, with the highest score in Global NCAP\u2019s #SaferCarsForIndia campaign.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTata Motors<\/a> has since submitted the Safari and Harrier for further Safer Choice conformity tests, with the models meeting performance and volume requirements for autonomous emergency breaking (AEB), speed assistance, and blind spot detection (BSD) systems.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tGlobal NCAP launched the Safer Choice Award in 2018 and updated its protocols in August 2024. To qualify for the award, a car model must meet all of the following requirements:\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  1. Five-star Global NCAP rating for adult occupant protection.<\/li>
  2. Five-star Global NCAP rating for child occupant protection.<\/li>
  3. Provide a speed assistance system and achieve a full score in Global NCAP\u2019s test criteria.<\/li>
  4. Provide AEB (car to car and vulnerable road user) and meet UN regulatory performance requirements.<\/li>
  5. Provide BSD as a stand-alone option and meet Global NCAP\u2019s performance requirements.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
