Skoda Auto India has rolled out the Skoda Kodiaq Lounge<\/a>, a fresh Kodiaq 5\u2011seater SUV priced at Rs. 39.99 lakh (ex\u2011showroom). <\/span><\/p>

This new variant is the most affordable way to own a Kodiaq, and it\u2019s aimed at buyers who want the premium SUV experience without paying for features they may never use. <\/span><\/p>

Already the Skoda Kodiaq 2025<\/a> lineup is popular. The Lounge edition now adds a practical element that makes the car feel customized for Indian families.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

What\u2019s New in Kodiaq Lounge<\/span><\/h2>

  • 5\u2011Seater Layout with Bigger Boot<\/span><\/b>: By removing the third row, Skoda has boosted luggage capacity from 281 litres to a massive 786 litres. This makes the Lounge far more practical for long trips and family use.<\/span><\/li>
  • Exterior Tweaks<\/span><\/b>: The Lounge gets new 18\u2011inch Mazeno alloy wheels and is offered in three exterior shades \u2013 Moon White, Magic Black, and Graphite Grey. Higher trims get additional colours like Race Blue, Velvet Red, and Bronx Gold, but those are not available here.<\/span><\/li>
  • Interior Updates<\/span><\/b>: The cabin gets grey upholstery, with a combination of fabric and faux suede. This complements a two\u2011spoke steering wheel (instead of the three\u2011spoke design on higher trims).<\/span><\/li>
  • Infotainment & Audio<\/span><\/b>: 10.4\u2011inch touchscreen, slightly smaller than the 12.9\u2011inch unit in the Sportline and L&K. The car also has a 100W 9\u2011speaker system. This is compared to the premium 725W 13\u2011speaker Canton setup found in top trims.<\/span><\/li>
  • Feature Trade\u2011offs<\/span><\/b>: To keep costs down, the Lounge skips a few extras like gesture control for the powered tailgate, a 360\u2011degree camera, and some luxury touches. However, all essential safety kit \u2013 including nine airbags, ESC, and hill\u2011start assist \u2013 remains intact.<\/span><\/li>
  • Pricing Advantage<\/span><\/b>: At Rs. 39.99 lakh, the Lounge is priced about Rs. 3.77 lakh lower than the Sportline and nearly Rs. 6 lakh below the L&K, making it the most accessible Kodiaq yet.<\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
