The Renault Kwid ICE facelift has been spotted on road tests hinting that the brand is preparing for another update to its popular hatchback. At the same time discussions continue on whether the company will also bring the Renault Kwid EV update to India after the facelift rolls out<\/span><\/p>

Renault Kwid Test Mule Reveals New Details<\/span><\/b><\/h2>

A camouflaged Renault Kwid<\/a> test vehicle was recently seen giving a clearer picture of the changes. The spy shots showed a small exhaust pipe at the rear confirming that this model is powered by a petrol engine and not an EV. Renault<\/a> has already refreshed its Triber<\/a> and Kiger<\/a> earlier this year and the Kwid facelift seems to be the next step in its portfolio update<\/span><\/p>

The facelifted hatchback borrows several styling cues from the Dacia Spring EV sold in Europe<\/span><\/p>

Visible changes include:<\/span><\/b><\/h3>
  • Y-shaped LED daytime running lights<\/span><\/li>
  • Pentagonal halogen headlamps<\/span><\/li>
  • A revised closed-off grille<\/span><\/li>
  • Squared-off wheel arches with thick cladding<\/span><\/li>
  • Flap-type door handles and sloping roofline<\/span><\/li>
  • Steel wheel covers similar to the Dacia Spring EV<\/span><\/li> <\/ul>

    At the rear, the facelift also carries Y-shaped tail lamps. Even under the camouflage, the car shows a cleaner and sharper design. A broad trim connects both tail lamps and will likely carry the Renault logo. These changes are expected to give the hatch a stronger street appeal<\/span><\/p>
