MG Motor India is reportedly preparing to unveil its third electric vehicle, the Cloud EV, later this year.
The MG Gloster facelift will flaunt a new fascia with a massive three-slat grille and the brand logo as the centerpiece.
The front design is quite aggressive, with a muscular grille and eyebrow DRLs. Its road presence looks massive, which should give it an edge over the Fortuner.
Mechanically, MG is unlikely to make any changes to the powertrain option. Currently, the Gloster comes with two engine options. First up, we have the 2.0-liter diesel engine capable of producing 159 bhp and 370 Nm of torque. Higher variants come with a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel engine capable of producing 213 bhp and 480 Nm of peak torque. Both of these engines come mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Once launched, the Mg Gloster will take on the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and Jeep Meridian.
