The Skoda Kylaq will make its global debut next month. A fully camouflaged version of the base entry-level variant of the Skoda Kylaq was recently spotted on the road as part of testing ahead of the launch.
On the front side, the entry-level variant of the Kylaq will get halogen headlamps with parking lamps and turn indicators. The higher variants might be getting the LED DRLs.
Moreover, Kylaq’s base variant test mule was sitting on 16-inch steel wheels with black covers.
On the rear side, you will miss out on a wiper and defogger, which will be provided as you go higher in the Kylaq’s variant lineup.
On the inside, the base variant Kylaq will feature a 2-spoke steering wheel, an analog instrument cluster, and a gear lever identical to Skoda Slavia and Skoda Kushaq.
Skoda India’s next big launch is its first compact SUV, the Kylaq, which is set to make its global debut on November 6. Positioned below the Kushaq, it will go on sale early next year.
The Kylaq is Skoda’s most important car since it began the India 2.0 campaign, putting its foot in the door of the sub-four compact SUV race, which is currently the hottest segment in the Indian market.
This will give it a chance to take the fight to cars like the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Maruti Brezza, Maruti Fronx, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor.
