The Citroen C3 hatchback has been launched in India with new features and revised pricing. In addition to that, Citroen has also introduced the hatchback with an automatic transmission for the turbo-petrol variants, but prices are yet to be revealed.
The Citroen C3’s design remains unchanged but gets more equipment now. It gets LED projector headlamps and auto-folding ORVMs with turn indicators now.
Additional upgrades include LED Vision Projector Headlamps, turn indicators on ORVMs, and the MyCitroën connectivity suite, which offers 40 smart features such as remote start/stop with preconditioning and a fuel marketplace.
Moreover, Citroën offers customization options for the C3, with six packs and over 70 accessories available.
The updated Citroen C3 gets two engine options under the hood: 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol and 1.2-liter turbo-petrol. The former is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the latter comes with either a 6-speed manual or a new 6-speed torque converter automatic (AT).
In terms of safety, the Citroen C3 includes 6 airbags, ISOFIX anchorages, ABS with EBD, and hill hold assist with an automated option, all included as standard equipment on the hatchback.
