Potential buyers can choose between a 7-speed PDK automatic or a 6-speed manual, preserving the classic GT3 driving experience.
“Particularly on winding country roads, you can clearly feel that the steering is even better tuned than its predecessor,” says Porsche brand ambassador Walter Röhrl. “It instills even greater confidence in the car because it responds with more composure from the center position without losing any of its directness. The shorter gear ratios also significantly enhance driving pleasure on country roads.”

To mark its 25th anniversary, the new model will launch simultaneously in two versions for the first time: as a track-focused sports car with a rear wing and as a more understated version with a Touring package. With tailor-made packages and innovative options, the GT3 variants can be further customized to the customer’s taste and intended use.
Interior
Inside, the updated model gets a digital instrument console instead of a semi-analogue cluster. The car is now available with new carbon bucket seats with unique removable headrests.
For the first time, the 911 GT3 Touring offers a hint of more practicality by allowing you to option in rear seats. There are also new (and, of course, optional) carbon bucket seats for the driver and front passenger. Geared towards those who like to track their cars, these seats feature removable headrest padding to accommodate a driver wearing a helmet. Customers preferring a bit more comfort and luxury can still opt for an 18-way adjustable Adaptive Sports Seats Plus.
2025 Porsche 911 GT3 has redesigned headlights that allow for bigger air intakes, while at the back the diffuser, air inlets, and rear lid have also been tweaked. The GT3’s wing gets freshly angled sideplates.
For the first time, Porsche introduces a Weissach package for the GT3, allowing for even more customization with components like carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) body parts and magnesium wheels. This package aims to enhance the car’s performance on the track.
Subtle changes arrive in the form of a re-contoured front diffuser, a tweaked spoiler lip, and modified underbody fins that subtly increase downforce and better the airflow.
The new 911 GT3 offers an enhanced driving experience, with shortened gear ratios and improved suspension that provide greater control and responsiveness. According to Porsche brand ambassador Walter Röhrl, the new models offer superior steering and increased driving pleasure.
The new Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring will be available for order by the end of the year, with deliveries slated for Summer 2025.
The beginnings
The first 911 GT3 model was introduced to the European market in 1999 as part of the 996 generation. It was one of the first production cars to officially lap the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife in less than eight minutes, with rally legend Walter Rӧhrl going around the famous track in just 7:56.33 minutes—a sensation at the time. The car distinguished itself from rear-wheel-drive 911 Carrera models through a 30 mm reduction in ride height, a pronounced front fascia, visible side skirts, and a fixed rear wing – all designed to reduce lift while still delivering a very efficient 0.30 drag coefficient. The angle of attack of the rear wing is adjustable for use on closed-course tracks.
