2026 VW Taigun Facelift Launched: Starts at ₹11 Lakh With Panoramic Sunroof and New Gearbox

Volkswagen Taigun facelift has officially launched in India with a starting price of ₹11 lakh (ex-showroom).

This mid-life update introduces refreshed styling, updated tech, and a new transmission for the smaller engine.

Whats New?

The Volkswagen Taigun facelift gets a sharp visual refresh, most notably a redesigned front fascia featuring new LED headlamps linked by a signature LED light bar. Both the front and rear bumpers have been reworked, and the updated LED taillights now include sequential turn indicators. Adding a premium touch are the illuminated VW logos at both ends and a fresh set of 17-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin maintains its familiar dashboard layout but introduces six new upholstery options and refreshed trim materials. Tech and comfort see a major boost with a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and an updated 10.1-inch touchscreen supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

• Panoramic Sunroof: Replacing the previous single-pane unit.
• Upgraded Climate Control: A more efficient air-conditioning system.
• Convenience: Massage seats, wireless charging, and customizable ambient lighting.

Color Options

Volkswagen is offering the Taigun facelift in two fresh shades – Avocado Pearl and Steel Grey – taking the total color palette to nine options. Other available shades include Lava Blue, Reflex Silver, Carbon Steel, Carbon Steel Matte, Deep Black Pearl, Candy White, and Cherry Red.

Assured buyback scheme

Volkswagen has also announced a new assured buyback scheme for the Taigun facelift, promising residual value of 75 percent of the ex-showroom price. This will be valid for up to 3 years and 30,000km, and will be applicable to Taigun bookings placed on or before May 31, 2026.
