Skoda has already been testing the new model on our roads for some time, and the latest images suggest that it could be offered in two variants.
Skoda is gearing up to launch the 2nd-gen Kodiaq in India Ahead of its launch, two uncamouflaged units of the Kodiaq were recently caught on camera in blue, and the other was finished in metallic green.
The flagship 7-seater SUV from Skoda has got a generation update in October 2023. The exterior has been completely redesigned. Moreover, it gets new cabin and upgraded features. Embracing Skoda’s ‘Modern Solid’ design ethos, the SUV presents a more dynamic and expansive appearance compared to its predecessor.

The next-gen Kodiaq is slightly larger than its outgoing model. The SUV’s headlamps have been redesigned, a heavily sculpted bonnet, the redesigned Skoda logo, a prominent hexagonal grill. Coming to the side, the Kodiaq looks familiar to the outgoing model as the silhouette design is largely similar. The rear boasts redesigned C-shaped LED taillights with central Skoda lettering, while a roof-mounted spoiler, optional dark chrome D-pillar trim, and squared-off wheel arches with black claddings complete the revised exterior.
2nd-gen Skoda Kodiaq Powertrain
The new-gen Kodiaq will likely be powered by a 2.0-liter TSI turbo-petrol engine, producing 187 bhp and 320 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
2nd-gen Skoda Kodiaq Competitors
The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq is expected to be priced at Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India) and it will continue to rival the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster and Jeep Meridian.
