Skoda has teased the new-gen Kodiaq for the first time in India.
Skoda has teased the second-generation Kodiaq for the country, hinting that its launch is not far away. The SUV was earlier showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
The new-gen Kodiaq will be built at the brand’s plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar plant in Maharashtra.
The second generation Kodiaq was unveiled in the global market in October 2023, with larger dimensions than its predecessor, offering more interior space, with a sharper focus on in-cabin tech.
The Kodiaq is expected to come with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 201 bhp and 320 Nm, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic that sends power to all four wheels.
Additionally, Skoda is expected to also bring the 2.0-litre diesel engine with Kodiaq later on. This engine is available in two states of tune – 148 bhp with 360 Nm and 190 bhp with 400 Nm. Both are available with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, sending power to all four wheels.
Moreover, the Skoda Kodiaq will be offered in two trims: Sportline and the top-spec Laurin & Klement.
