Tata Motors has reached a significant achievement with the Tiago EV, which has now sold over 50,000 units in India.

Launched in September 2022, the Tata Tiago EV has taken nearly 2 years to record the same. The hatchback is the carmaker’s most affordable electric vehicle in India.

The homegrown carmaker sold over 10,000 units of the Tiago EV in just 4 months after commencing deliveries, while the next 40,000 units were sold in 17 months.

Tata Tiago EV : Details

The Tata Tiago EV is available in four different models : XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux.

Colour options include : Teal Blue, Daytona Grey, Tropical Mist, Pristine White and Midnight Plum are the five different colours available in the car.

The Tiago EV comes with two battery options. These include a 19.2 kWh battery pack that offers a range of 250 km and a larger 24 kWh battery that has a claimed maximum range of 315 km. It uses a 55 kWh electric motor that drives the front wheels.

The Tata Tiago EV has a 5 seater capacity making it a great choice amongst the mid-size compact vehicle options.

The Tata Tiago EV has a starting price of Rs. 7.99 lakh and goes up to 11.49 lakh depending on the variant selected.
