Volkswagen Virtus records the highest monthly sale in October 2024

Volkswagen India announced that its high-end sedan, the Virtus, sold a record-breaking 2,351 units in October 2024, showing an impressive 32% growth from the previous year. This achievement reinforces the Virtus’s position as India’s top-selling premium sedan for 2024.
The Virtus saw a 32 percent jump in sales compared to October 2023, further proving its popularity among Indian buyers. In addition, Volkswagen India experienced a 9 percent overall sales growth in October 2024 compared to the same month last year, reflecting the growing demand for its high-quality, German-engineered vehicles.
Commenting on the milestone, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India,

Launched on 9th June 2022, the Volkswagen Virtus has a 1.5L TSI EVO with ACT engine type with a displacement of 1498cc that gives 147.51 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. It has automatic transmission, a fuel tank capacity of 45 liters, a mileage of 19.62 kmpl, and a boot space of 521 liters. Priced at Rs. 1.15 lakhs (ex-showroom), the Virtus is available in eight colors: lava blue, rising blue metallic, curcuma yellow, carbon steel grey, deep black-purple, reflex silver, candy white, and wild cherry red.
