JSW MG Windsor becomes the best-selling EV in October

JSW MG Motor India achieved significant sales with its newly launched MG Windsor. The company sold 3,116 units of the MG Windsor, capturing nearly 30% of the total passenger electric vehicle sales in the month of October.

The MG Windsor has managed to dethrone the Tata Nexon EV, which has been the best-selling EV for a long time. MG Windsor caters to consumers who seek the best of both worlds – the comfort of a sedan and the expanse of an SUV.

The MG Windsor EV is offered in three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence. Below are their prices (ex-showroom).

Excite: Rs 13.50 lakh
Exclusive: Rs 14.50 lakh
Essence: Rs 15.50 lakh

In October 2024, MG’s EVs made up 70 percent of the company’s total sales. Overall, the company experienced a 31 percent year-on-year increase with a record-breaking 7,045 units sold, marking its highest monthly sales since inception.

Besides the Windsor EV, MG’s portfolio in India includes the Astor, Hector, Gloster, ZS EV, and Comet EV.
