2nd-gen Kia Seltos Next Gen Spied Testing in India for the First Time

The new Kia Seltos has been spotted in India for the first time ahead of its mid-2025 global debut.

The South Korean automaker is readying the second-gen Seltos, which is believed to break cover by mid-2025. The SUV has already been spied in South Korea, while the Indian prototype offers fresh insights into its updated design and features. This is the first time the mid-size SUV has been spotted in India. It is completely wrapped in a heavy camouflage.

Design

The spy images revealed that the boxy profile of the SUV has been retained. The front and rear bumpers, grille, and lighting elements are set to receive a modern touch, aligning the design with Kia’s latest design language. Moreover, the only visible visual detail is the new L-shaped LED taillamps inspired by the EV9.

Additionally, the new-gen Seltos will be offered with a revamped cabin with several elements borrowed from the Kia EV3.

The Seltos is the highest-selling model for Kia to date, consistently averaging 9,000 units every month. The mid-size SUV received a mid-cycle facelift in July last year.

2nd-gen Kia Seltos India launch

The all-new Seltos could see its global debut sometime in the second quarter of 2025. We can expect the 2nd-gen Kia Seltos to come to India in late next year or early 2026.
