Honda Elevate SUV Crosses 100000 sales milestone, Across Domestic and Export Markets

Honda Cars India has achieved a significant milestone, surpassing 1 lakh cumulative sales of the Honda Elevate.

The Honda Elevate was launched in September 2024, Honda has sold 53,326 units in India and 47,653 units exported to countries like Japan, South Africa, Nepal, and Bhutan as of January 2025, taking its cumulative sales across the 1 lakh unit milestone.

Honda Elevate is the company’s first ever made-in-India model to be exported to Japan. This demonstrates HCIL’s global reach and its commitment to manufacture global quality cars for Indian car buyers.

To cater to a broader audience, Honda Cars India introduced the Apex Edition and Black Edition of the Elevate. The midsize SUV, along with its Amaze and City siblings, are compliant with E20 fuel standards.

Currently, Elevate is Honda’s best-selling export model, helping HCIL to grow its overseas business grow by 65% in FY23-24 and 92% in ongoing financial year till January 2025.

The Elevate, developed under the concept of ‘Urban Freestyler,’ is E20 compliant, meaning it can run on fuel containing up to 20% ethanol, aligning with India’s push toward greener transportation solutions. Honda says Elevate customers in India have clocked more than 32.6 crore kms.

The Elevate has strengthened Honda’s presence in the domestic SUV market and bolstered our export operations. Since its global debut, the model has been well-received for its bold design, comfortable interior, engaging driving experience, and advanced safety features.”

Honda Elevate variants, colours Preferences

Colour choices among buyers reveal that Platinum White Pearl leads the pack at 35.1 per cent, followed by Golden Brown Metallic at 19.9 per cent.

Moreover, Honda says that 53% of Elevate sales have been for the top-spec ZX trim. A large chunk, 79%, goes for the CVT variants of the Elevate.
