MG Comet Blackstorm Edition launched at Rs 7.80 lakh

JSW MG Motor India has expanded its special Blackstorm edition series with the launch of the Comet EV.

The Blackstorm edition of the Comet EV is based on the top-spec Exclusive variant, priced at Rs 7.80 lakh plus battery rental of Rs 2.5 per km. The MG Comet Blackstorm Edition is the fourth car in MG’s lineup to get a special edition, following the Gloster, Hector, and Astor.

Customers can book the car by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000.

MG Comet Blackstorm Edition Exterior

The MG Comet Blackstorm Edition features a Starry Black paint scheme with red accents around the body, with blacked-out wheel covers featuring red accents. The red accents are carried over throughout the body. Other design elements include a dark chrome finished Comet EV nameplate, a black painted ‘Internet Inside’ badge, red accents on different places like the badging, wheel covers, faux skid plate, and turn indicator surrounds.

On the inside,the Comet Blackstorm Edition offers an all-black interior with a sweet touch of red accents. The leatherette seats feature the ‘Blackstorm’ embroidery, while doors continue to flaunt the same white and beige combination with the soft touch material.

MG Comet Blackstorm Edition Battery Pack and Range

Powering the MG Comet EV is a 17.3 kWh battery pack which is claimed to offer a range of up to 230 km on a single charge. It is paired with an electric motor which produces 41 hp of power and 110 Nm of peak torque.
