JSW MG Motor India is offering huge discounts of upto Rs 2 lakh on its Hector SUV. These benefits are valid for the SUV before March 31, 2025.

The mid-size SUV segment is one of the most competitive in the Indian market, To attract customers, JSW-MG Motor is now offering a scheme that translates to a combined savings of around 2,00,000.

The MG Hector SUV gets various iterations including the five-seat, six-seat, and seven-seat variations. The latter of the two are sold as the Hector Plus.

The MG Hector comes in six variants: Style, Shine Pro, Select Pro, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro.

MG Hector Features

The MG Hector comes with a 14-inch portrait-style infotainment screen, automatic turn indicators, improved connected car technology, a panoramic sunroof (control the percentage of opening via the infotainment), and ambient lighting (multiple colours). The list of features further includes a powered tailgate, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging and heated outer rear-view mirrors

MG Hector Powertrain

The MG Hector is offered with two engine options:

1.5-litre turbo-petrol: This four-cylinder engine makes 143 PS and 250 Nm. It’s available with a 6-speed manual or a CVT. Notably, MG has discontinued the DCT gearbox option with this engine.
2.0-litre diesel: This engine is shared with other vehicles in the segment such as the Tata Harrier and the Tata Safari. In the Hector, the output stands at 170 PS and 350 Nm. A 6-speed manual is the only gearbox available. MG does not offer a diesel-automatic combination with the Hector.

MG Hector Safety Features

Safety features include up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, ADAS technology and electronic stability control.

MG Hector Color Options

Color options of the MG Hector include six single-tone shades and one dual-tone option. Havana Grey, Candy White, Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, Starry Black, Dune Brown, and Dual-tone White & Black are on offer.

MG Hector Competitors

The MG Hector competes with the Tata Harrier, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and the Mahindra XUV700.
