Volvo India has launched the facelift of the XC90 in India, with a price tag of Rs. 1.02 crore (ex-showroom). This flagship SUV arrives with a host of enhancements, both in terms of design and technology.

Notably, Volvo has ditched the diesel powertrain on the facelift. The new model demands a premium of Rs 2 lakh over the outgoing version.

The facelifted XC90 follows Volvo’s latest design philosophy, aligning it more closely with the EX90. The most noticeable update is the redesigned front grille, accompanied by reshaped LED headlamps while keeping Volvo’s signature Thor’s Hammer DRLs. The front bumper of the car has also been refreshed offering vertical air vents along with lower intake vents.

Profile-wise, the XC90 will continue to feature traditional pull-type door handles, body-colored outside mirrors, and silver roof rails. The new vehicle will boast a pair of dual-tone alloy wheels, which are of 20 inch

The rear gets a sleeker LED tail lamps and sharp cuts and creases on the bumpers.

2025 Volvo XC90 Color Options

The Volvo XC90 comes with six color options, including Onyx Black, Crystal White, Denim Blue, Vapor Grey, Bright Dusk and a new Mulberry Red colour.

On the inside, the XC90 Facelift remains similar. It continues to have a three-spoke steering wheel, and the infotainment screen is tilted towards the driver. Additionally there is new upholstery and a new layout equipped with a variety of high-end features.

Feature highlights include a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, an 11.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a premium 19-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system, a head-up display (HUD), powered seats with ventilation and massage functions, a panoramic sunroof, and four-zone climate control.
