The Toyota Innova Hycross has become the first hybrid MPV in India to earn a five-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. Both petrol and strong-hybrid variants cleared frontal and side crash tests with flying colours.
Its sturdy body, rich safety kit and smart ADAS features set a new benchmark in MPV safety and family car protection.
Toyota built a strong cabin to keep grown-ups safe. It scored 30.47 out of 32 in adult protection tests.
This test shows how well the body holds up in front and side crashes. Head, pelvis and leg protection rated “good,” while chest protection was “adequate” under high loads.
The MPV also makes sure kids stay safe in their seats. It scored 45 out of 49 in child safety checks.
ISOFIX anchors and support legs on rear seats earn perfect dynamic marks. A few points dropped in fit tests, but overall child protection is class-leading.
