Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Coupe has been launched by Mercedes-Benz, priced at Rs 1.35 crore (ex-showroom, all-India).
The latest AMG CLE 53 is expensive by Rs 20 lakh more than its open-top counterpart, which is priced at Rs 1.15 crore (ex-showroom).
Notably, With the launch of the new CLE coupe takes AMG’s India line-up goes to a total of 10 models.
The Mercedes AMG CLE 53 Coupe is an aggressive-looking AMG model. The front fascia comes with a massive vertically-slatted front grille, big and chunky air-vents, an aggressive bumper, and some cuts and creases along the bonnet to accentuate its sporty personality.
Coming to the side, the coupe features frameless doors and AMG side blades. Additionally, the Y-spoke 20-inch black alloy wheels, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, give it an aggressive stance.
At the rear, a gloss-black diffuser and connected LED tail-lamps round off its sporty profile.
On the inside, the interiors are based on the C Class, and there are AMG bits on multiple parts and are also finished in carbon fiber.
The AMG CLE 53 Coupe offers 12.3-inch digital cluster, and an 11.9-inch vertical infotainment screen and a choice of 64 colors for ambient lighting.
The coupe has an AMG-specific 3-spoke steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara with red stitching, plus two extra touch controls. It has turbine-like AC vents with silver surrounds, and some storage spaces in the center bridge, along with cupholders.
Furthermore, the CLE AMG offers a Burmester surround sound system, a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, a wireless charger, and powered and ventilated seats with memory function.

The Mercedes-Benz CLE 53 AMG 4Matic Plus is equipped with a 3.0L inline six-cylinder turbo petrol engine, which makes 442.5bhp and 560Nm torque. This engine is paired with a nine-speed torque converter gearbox.
It can sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of up to 250km/h (270km/h with the AMG Driver’s Package).
There are five AMG DYNAMIC SELECT driving programs in total, namely Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Individual.
On the safety front, the CLE AMG comes equipped with 8 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, a tire pressure monitoring system and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) functions like active brake assist, auto-parking assist and blind spot monitoring.
