Hyundai Alcazar Knight Edition

The Hyundai Alcazar Knight Edition has been launched in India with a fresh matte black color scheme and several cosmetic updates. Priced at Rs.21.66 lakh (ex showroom) the special edition adds a bold appearance along with a few functional upgrades. Hyundai Motor India has introduced the Knight Edition treatment for multiple models including the i20, Creta Electric, and now the seven-seat Alcazar. With this, the Alcazar becomes the sixth model in the lineup to receive the Knight Edition badge.

Alcazar Knight Edition Price

The Alcazar Knight Edition price has been set at Rs. 21.66 lakh for both petrol and diesel automatic variants. The two options available are:

  • Petrol-DCT Signature Knight – Rs. 21.66 lakh
  • Diesel-AT Signature Knight – Rs. 21.66 lakh

This makes the Knight Edition about Rs. 16,000 costlier than the standard Signature trim it is based on. While the price increase is minimal the package offers a darker and sportier look that will appeal to buyers who want exclusivity

Alcazar Knight Edition Vs Standard

Buyers often want to know how the special edition differs from the regular model. Here is a quick look at Alcazar Knight Edition vs standard

Design: The Knight Edition gets matte black paint and blacked out details while the standard trims come in chrome and dual tone options

Cabin: The Knight Edition features brass inserts with an all black look whereas the regular version uses lighter dual tone interiors

Equipment: A dashcam and exclusive metal pedals are part of the Knight Edition, not available in the standard variant

Price: The Knight Edition costs Rs. 16,000 more than the Signature trim.

Powertrain Options

The Hyundai Alcazar Knight full specification remains unchanged mechanically as the edition is only available with automatic versions of petrol and diesel engines

  • Petrol Engine: 1.5 litre turbopetrol producing 160 hp and 253 Nm, paired with a 7speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox
  • Diesel Engine: 1.5 litre diesel with 116 hp and 250 Nm mated to a 6speed torque converter automatic

Both versions come only in the 7 seater configuration with a bench seat in the second row. The 6 seat layout with captain chairs is not offered in this edition

New Updates For Standard Alcazar

Hyundai has also introduced small updates to the regular Alcazar lineup. The Signature trim now comes with:

  • Matte black exterior paint option.
  • Factory-fitted dashcam.

These updates improve the appeal of the standard Alcazar as well, making the SUV more versatile for different buyers.

Market Position And Popularity

Since its launch, Hyundai has sold over 77,000 Knight Edition models across different cars in India. The popularity of the all black theme shows strong demand among younger buyers who prefer sportier looks. The Alcazar Knight Edition is expected to further strengthen Hyundai’s presence in the premium three-row SUV segment

The launch of the Hyundai Alcazar Knight Edition at Rs. 21.66 lakh makes it a stylish and premium offering in the SUV space. With its matte black paint scheme, brass-accented interior and new dashcam the edition stands out while keeping the practicality and features of the standard Alcazar intact. For buyers who want something exclusive without spending much extra the Knight Edition is a solid upgrade
