Mercedes-Benz CLA EV India Launch on April 24: 792km Range & Expected Price

Mercedes-Benz CLA EV is officially confirmed to launch in India on April 24, 2026. This marks a major return for the CLA nameplate, which was a fan favorite before being discontinued in India in 2020.

The CLA electric will be offered in the domestic market in two variants:

• CLA 250+ Long Range
• CLA 200 Standard Range.

Pre-bookings are already open for a token amount of ₹1.50 lakh, but the real decider will be the price tag. All eyes are now on how Mercedes positions this entry-level electric sedan to compete in the luxury EV market.

The CLA Electric will be supported by the MB.CHARGE Public network, which includes more than 9,000 charging points across India. The MBUX Virtual Assistant integrates route-based navigation with charging stop suggestions.

For home charging, the company offers a wall box charger with up to 22 kW capacity. Customers who have pre-booked the model will receive this charger at no additional cost.

Pricing and Bookings

Bookings: Official bookings are already open (started March 10) with a token amount of ₹1.5 lakh.

Deliveries: Expected to begin in late April for the Long Range model, with the Standard Range following in June.

Estimated Price: Expected to start around ₹55 lakh for the CLA 200 and go up to ₹59 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 250+.

Early-Bird Offer

Customers who pre-book the model will receive a 22 kW home wall box charger at no additional cost.
