2026 Hyundai Creta Price Hike: SX Tech & SX(O) Discontinued; ADAS Features Now ₹1.48 Lakh Dearer – Check Full List

Hyundai India has officially simplified its Creta portfolio for May 2026, cutting down the available trims from nine to seven. In a move that significantly shifts the value proposition for mid-segment buyers, the popular SX Tech and SX(O)variants have been axed.

ADAS Feature Now Premium

The most notable impact for buyers is the accessibility of safety tech. Previously, the SX Tech variant allowed customers to access Level 2 ADAS features for an ex-showroom price ranging between ₹15.69 lakh and ₹17.22 lakh.

With this variant gone, buyers must now opt for the top-spec King variant to get these advanced safety features. This move has effectively increased the entry price for ADAS-equipped Cretas by approximately ₹1.48 lakh.

Discontinued Hyundai Creta Variants

Hyundai has streamlined the 2026 Creta lineup by discontinuing several variants, including the S Petrol/Diesel Manual, E Diesel Manual, S(O) Knight Edition, SX Tech, SX(O), and various King Limited/Turbo editions. This update shifts the lineup to seven core variants, effectively raising the entry price for ADAS features by removing the SX Tech trim.
