Mini India has launched the Mini Cooper S GP Inspired Edition at an ex-showroom price of ₹58.90 lakh.

Imported as a Completely Built-Up unit (CBU), this exclusive hot hatch sits at the absolute pinnacle of the Mini 3-Door line-up.

Unveiled at the newly inaugurated Mini Eminent Cars dealership in Surat, the company has capped its total allocation for the entire Indian market at just 30 units, making it an instant collector’s item for automotive purists.

Design & Interior

The Cooper S JCW GP Inspired Edition comes finished in Legend Grey with a Chili Red roof and matching mirror caps. Mini has added red and grey GP-inspired stripes on the bonnet and side profile, giving the hatchback a look similar to the Mini GP models sold globally.

The hatchback also gets several John Cooper Works parts including a front spoiler extension, side skirts, rear diffuser, and front and rear winglets. Mini has equipped the car with 17-inch JCW Sprint Spoke alloy wheels along with GP-style red hub caps.

Interior & Features

Inside, the cabin gets a few premium changes over the standard Cooper S to elevate its track-inspired character. The illuminated door sills proudly feature GP branding, while the bespoke floor mats carry unique ‘1 of 30’ badging to highlight its extreme rarity. Mini has also added JCW-specific door lock pins and a matching dashboard trim as part of this exclusive package. The hatchback comes equipped with JCW sport seats finished in a high-quality Vescin and cord upholstery combination, alongside a leather-wrapped JCW steering wheel with paddle shifters. While the overall layout remains identical to the standard model, these added JCW parts give the cabin a much more driver-focused setup.

Mini has retained the tech-loaded standard Cooper S feature list on this limited edition. The premium hatchback gets the signature circular OLED touchscreen infotainment system, complete with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Other top-tier features include a high-end Harman Kardon sound system, a panoramic sunroof, a crisp head-up display, connected car technology, wireless charging, a powered driver seat, and a Level 1 ADAS safety suite.

The model comes with a standard two-year unlimited kilometer warranty along with 24×7 roadside assistance. Service-inclusive packages begin from three years or 40,000 km and can be extended up to 10 years or 1,00,000 km. Warranty extension options are also available from the third year onwards.
