Porsche has launched the new 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera GTS models in India, two days after their global premiere.
The company has started accepting bookings for the two supercars. Deliveries in India are expected to commence by year-end.
The updated models feature cosmetic changes, improved aerodynamics, additional features, more equipment, and a new interior. There are subtle tweaks to the front section, where there are redesigned headlamps, tweaked bumpers both fore and aft, and repositioned exhaust tips. The GTS additionally gets active air vents on the front bumper with flaps that open and close to channel air for improved cooling or reducing drag.
The new 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS is powered by a newly developed 3.6-liter hybrid petrol engine. It’s called a T-Hybrid petrol-electric system. Porsche has introduced a hybrid-assisted powertrain with the Carrera 4 GTS, marking the first time in the 911’s 61-year history.
