This is the second facelift for the current-gen model that debuted in 2015. The Audi Q7 will be manufactured locally at the SAVWIPL plant in Aurangabad.
Bookings began earlier this month for a token amount of ₹2 lakh.
“To date, we have sold over 10,000 Audi Q7’s in India, and this is a testament to the continued desire and love to own our flagship that has for many years been the best seller. The new Audi Q7 boasts a new design, several updated features, and with quattro all-wheel drive and a 3L V6 engine, I am confident that this new Audi Q7 is going to continue to attract SUV buyers who love to drive and also be driven,” Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said.
Audi Q7 facelift: Exterior
The Audi Q7 facelift gets a newly designed vertically oriented octagonal grille, complemented by the presence of newly designed headlamps with Matrix lights and DRLs. The Q7 facelift comes with a new air intake and a redesigned bumper for enhanced visibility and style. The side profile remains intact, with the only significant change being the introduction of 20-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels. At the rear, it gets a reworked bumper and a new diffuser housing redesigned exhaust tips.
Audi Q7 Facelift: Color Options
The Q7 facelift is available in five colors: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Glacier White, and Samurai Grey.
Audi Q7 facelift: interior
The interiors of the Audi Q7 facelift are revised with a new layout of the dashboard. The updated Virtual Cockpit now includes a lane-change warning system. It supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay but requires wired connections.
It has two choices for cabin theme: Saiga Beige and Cedar Brown. Moreover, the overall interior layout remains largely unchanged with the same three-screen layout as before. However, the infotainment touchscreen now allows users to download third-party apps.
Audi Q7 facelift: powertrain
The Audi Q7 facelift is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid technology. The V6 engine produces 340 BHP and 500 Nm torque, mated to an eight-speed torque converter gearbox. Audi claims that the 0-100km/h time of the Q7 is 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 250km/h.
