BYD India is gearing up to launch a new product on July 10. The Chinese EV manufacturer is set to introduce a new entry-level variant of the e-SUV with a smaller battery pack.
BYD India has teased a new product launch in July through its social media channels.
According to the reports, the Atto 3 will be equipped with a smaller 50kWh battery pack, with a slightly lesser range compared to the 60.48 kWh unit offered currently, it will come at a lower price tag.
The current Atto3 model boasts an ARAI-certified range of 521 km with its 60.48 kWh battery.
BYD gains ARAI homologation certification.
BYD has now got an ARAI homologation certification for the Atto 3, which enables BYD India to surpass the previous limit of 2,500 units for CBU and SKD models.
