BYD Sealion 7 launched in India at Rs. 48.90 lakh, Deliveries set to begin on March 7, 2025

Chinese automaker BYD has Launched its highly anticipated electric SUV, the Sealion 7 in India at a starting price of Rs 48.9 lakh.

The Sealion 7 is offered in two variants – Premium and Performance. The ex-showroom prices for both are as follows:

BYD Sealion 7 Premium – Rs 48.90 Lakh
BYD Sealion 7 Performance – Rs 54.90 Lakh

BYD had already commenced the bookings of this model at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo 2025 for an amount of Rs. 70,000. Deliveries of the BYD Sealion 7 will start from March 7 this year.

The BYD Sealion 7 marks the fourth offering from the Chinese EV maker, following the eMax 7, Atto 3, and Seal. BYD first showcased the Sealion 7 electric SUV at the Auto Expo 2025 in January.

The BYD Sealion 7 features the Chinese automaker’s Ocean series design language. The four-door electric SUV has a coupe-like roofline, following the modern aesthetic that blends both utility and style.

The Sealion 7 has a bold front profile, dominated by sweptback ‘double-U’ LED headlights and striking LED daytime running lights (DRL).

Flared wheel arches with black cladding and a sleek rear featuring wraparound LED taillights and a light bar further enhance the SUV’s dynamic look.

A dual-tone rear bumper with two aerodynamic spoilers – one positioned on the roof and another on the boot lid – adds to its sporty profile. Furthermore, it has seamlessly integrated wraparound LED taillights connected by a sleek LED light bar.
