Cars to debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show
Hyundai Creta EV
Hyundai Motor India is preparing for the launch of its most-awaited electric car, the Creta EV. Slated for a debut in 2025, the Creta EV is currently undergoing a rigorous testing phase and is set to be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo in January 2025.
Mahindra XUV.e9
The Mahindra XUV.e9 has been seen on Indian roads during its testing phase, showcasing several of its standout features. The SUV sports a modern split-LED headlamp design and stylish alloy wheels that reflect the aesthetics of the concept model unveiled in 2023. Unique inverted L-shaped turn indicators add to its dynamic look, with front indicators also functioning as LED daytime running lights, while the rear indicators are cleverly integrated into the taillights via a light bar.
Maruti eVX
Maruti Suzuki showcased the eVX electric SUV for the first time at the 2023 Auto Expo. This was followed by an updated iteration that debuted at the Japan Mobility Show last year. The carmaker has now confirmed the timeline of the car’s reveal in the production-ready form.
The new production-spec Suzuki eVX will be showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show in Delhi. It will then be launched in the European market first, followed by the Indian market.
Tata Harrier EV
Tata Motors is most likely to launch the Harrier EV by the first quarter of CY2025. A concept of the all-electric Harrier was showcased at the Auto Expo 2023 and later at the inaugural Bharat Mobility Show earlier this year. Test mules of the battery-powered midsize SUV were spotted on numerous occasions in recent months.
Mahindra XUV e.8
Mahindra XUV.e8 is the electric version of the Mahindra XUV700. The XUV.e8 will also be the first model to be underpinned by Mahindra’s INGLO platform, among a series of other SUVs slated to launch in 2025. Mahindra had also shown a prototype of the all-electric SUV back in August 2022. The Mahindra XUV.e8 will share many styling cues with the XUV 700.
Tata Sierra
Tata Motors is set to launch the much anticipated Sierra EV in India in FY2026. The Sierra EV was first shown in concept form at Auto Expo 2020, and Tata had revealed that it was based on Altroz’s ALFA platform. A second concept was then shown at Auto Expo 2023, which looked closer to being production-ready and featured a proper 5-door body instead of the unique four-door arrangement of the 2020 concept.
The Tata Sierra EV is expected to come with a dual-motor AWD setup. This setup will also be offered on the Harrier EV. It is likely to be packed with a battery pack of around 60kWh to 80kWh. The electric SUV could offer a certified range of over 500 km on a single charge.
New Honda Amaze
Launched in 2013, the Amaze quickly became a success story in India. Auto experts attribute this success to its innovative packaging, fuel-efficient engine options, and value-based price point. Now in its second generation, the latest Honda Amaze builds on the strengths of its predecessor. It will offer a bold new style, more spacious interiors, and increased safety features. The new version of the Honda Amaze will stand out as top-choice contenders for compact sedan buyers in India. With its restyled design, feature-rich interior, and cutting-edge technology.
Mahindra BE.05
The concept form of the BE.05 has already been showcased. In fact, the test mule of the electric SUV has also been spied, hinting at its unique design elements and tech-loaded interior. The BE.05 will be based on Mahindra’s INGLO platform, which uses components from Volkswagen’s MEB architecture.
Mahindra Be.Rall-E
The BE Rall-E is part of Mahindra’s Born Electric range and will be based on the INGLO platform. The Mahindra BE Rall-E will be based on the coupe-style SUV idea of the BE 05. This SUV is classified under the A-segment SUV in the Indian market.
The production version could be offered with a 60 kWh battery pack with up to 500 km of range. Given its rugged design, we can expect it to get an AWD variant with dual electric motors.
