Formula 1 reveals 2025 Season Launch event

Formula 1 has announced a groundbreaking season launch event at London’s The O2—featuring all the teams, their drivers, and team bosses, plus top entertainment—ahead of the 2025 campaign.
This dramatic opening ceremony, conceptualized by Brian Burke, the visionary behind the festivities at the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix, will run from 20:00-22:00 GMT on Tuesday, 18th February 2025. It’ll feature interviews with all the sport’s stars as well as special guests.
Tickets for the event go on sale on Friday, 15th November, at 10:00 GMT and will cost from £58 to £113. The show will also be streamed live; details on where you can watch will be revealed at a later date.
F1’s President and CEO, Stefano Domanicali, said: “For the first time we will bring together our fans, all 20 superstars of our sport, and some very special guests to officially kick off our new season and mark our 75th year of racing. With 2025 set to be a classic season following all the drama so far in 2024, this is a fantastic opportunity for fans of all ages to experience up close the incredible entertainment spectacle that is Formula 1.”
Notably, for the first time in F1 history, all 10 teams, 20 drivers, and respective team principals will come together with fans to welcome the start of a new Formula 1 season. The event will also play host to all 10 teams revealing their 2025 car liveries together, all while marking the sport’s 75th anniversary year.
The event will feature a mix of appearances from drivers and senior team figures and other entertainment aspects, with fans able to buy tickets to attend at the 20,000-capacity venue.

“It’s an incredible honor to continue to partner with Formula 1, creating new entertainment experiences, especially this brand-new launch event of the 2025 season celebrating the 75th anniversary of the sport.
The event will also be broadcast live, although those details are still to come, along with other information about the event, in the coming weeks.
F1 2025 launch event
Traditionally, F1 launch season has been piecemeal, with individual teams revealing their cars or liveries via bespoke events organized wherever it suits best—whether that be in the factory or a far-flung location at the behest of a new sponsor.
The launch event will take place on February 18th, 2025, between 8 and 10 pm at the O2, with all 10 teams showing off their 2025 liveries and showcasing their driver line-ups.

Even the President of the FIA, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, described the event as the prelude to the celebrations for this milestone reached by the competition, the queen of the motorsport world: “The FIA is delighted to join our colleagues at FOM and all the teams in organizing the inaugural event to launch the Formula 1 season. This occasion will also serve as a fitting prelude to the celebration of the sport’s 75th anniversary throughout the 2025 season.”
