Focus on Internal Combustion Engines
Although the world is emphasizing using more electric cars, India is still driven mostly by ICE cars which Hyundai continues to focus on. All of the 20 scheduled ICE launches will involve showing off brand-new cars, upgraded series and improved versions of current models.
Among the biggest launches is the upgraded Hyundai Venue which is being tested right now and should debut at the end of 2025. On top of that, the new Hyundai Creta will be introduced by 2027 after ongoing development.

Hybrid Models Under Consideration
Hyundai will also offer hybrid powertrains as part of its drive toward sustainable transportation. There is now a new hybrid 7-seater SUV being developed that will sit between the Alcazar and Tucson. Once it’s out, the Skoda Kushaq will be up against the Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari.
Hybrid vehicle sales in India are on the rise because they help lower fuel and pollution levels without relying entirely on charging.
Addressing Market Share Concerns
Recent times have brought a drop in Hyundai’s market share in India because of stronger competition and different buyer habits. The new product plan is Intended to win back customers by offering models that appeal to small car buyers, families driving SUVs and those looking for electric vehicles.
This decision, it is said, could enable Hyundai to reenter the Indian market strongly, as long as its cars are offered with attractive pricing and full-range features across the powertrain range.
What to Expect in 2025?
