Hyundai Tucson scores 5-Star Rating In Bharat NCAP Crash Test
The 2024 Hyundai Tucson has scored five stars in Bharat NCAP crash tests.
The Hyundai Tucson tested by Bharat NCAP were Platinum and Signature variants with a 2.0-liter petrol engine and automatic transmission.
This premium midsize SUV has garnered a score of 30.84 out of 32 in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 41 out of 49 in Child Occupant Protection (COP). That said, it has been awarded a perfect 5-star rating in both test cases. The SUV was tested for a front offset deformable barrier, a side movable barrier, and a side pole impact test.
The Hyundai Tucson is the 11th vehicle to earn a five-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, joining the Tata Harrier, Safari, Nexon, Punch, and Curvv.ev, Tata Nexon, Tata Punch.ev, Mahindra Thar, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Mahindra XUV400.
The Hyundai Tucson was launched in 2023 and is a part of Hyundai’s global lineup, representing the latest fluid yet futuristic design.
