Isuzu has taken a significant step into the electric vehicle market by displaying the D-Max EV concept at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
The Isuzu D-Max BEV concept made its debut at the Bangkok International Motor Show in 2024. The electric pickup truck concept combines the rugged design with advanced technology with a full-time all-wheel drive system.
The D-MAX BEV marks a pivotal step in the company’s journey toward sustainable innovation and future-ready solutions.
Moreover, the D-Max BEV will be the first battery-powered model to be launched by Isuzu. It will go on sale in European markets first followed by Australia, and Thailand.
Notably, The D-Max BEV is equipped with a full-time 4WD system and newly developed e-Axles on both the front and rear, for good off-road performance and linear acceleration. It boasts a high towing capacity and a durable frame, matching the capabilities of existing diesel models.
Isuzu D-Max BEV : Battery Pack
The Isuzu D-Max BEV is powered by a single 66.9 kWh battery pack option with a dual motor that delivers 174.58 BHP with 325 Nm of torque.
Though the model is in its development stage at the moment, the D-Max BEV is claimed to return a range of 300km on a single full charge. Additionally, it can handle a payload of 1,000kg, while the towing capacity stands at 3.5 tonnes.
