A global trend that has been reflected in the Indian automotive market over the past three years is the soaring demand for luxury and super-luxury cars and SUVs.
FADA has released the vehicle registration data of luxury cars for July 2024.
The top carmakers in the country’s luxury car market are all German; Mercedes-Benz India maintains its lead, but Mercedes-Benz India is hot on its heels.
– Mercedes-Benz – 1,195 units, up from 1,085 units in July 2023
– BMW – 1,080 units, down from 1,156 units in July 2023

– Jaguar Land Rover – 466 units, up from 257 units in July 2023

– Volvo – 127 units, down from 138 units in July 2023
– Audi – 44 units (CBU), down from 116 units in July 2023
