Mahindra Thar Roxx Scores 5 Stars In Bharat NCAP Crash Tests

Bharat NCAP has released its safety rating for the Mahindra Thar Roxx. The 5-door off-roader has scored a perfect 5-star rating from the testing agency.
Mahindra Thar Roxx has made history by becoming the first body-on-frame SUV to secure a 5-star Bharat-NCAP rating, achieving the highest overall score by any ICE vehicle in Bharat-NCAP testing.
According to BNCAP, since all of the features relevant in achieving the 5-star rating are available as standard with the Thar Roxx, this rating remains valid for all variants of the Thar Roxx SUV.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx has received 31.09 points out of 32.00 in adult occupant protection and 45.00 out of 49.00 points in child occupant protection tests, as the five-door off-road SUV has been awarded five stars in both categories.
Mahindra Thar Roxx: Safety Features
In terms of safety, the Thar Roxx comes with features such as six airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Seatbelt Reminder (SBR) as standard across all variants. More safety features include Level 2 ADAS features, such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and a 360-degree surround view system with Blind View Monitor. It also has a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Brake Locking Differential (BLD).
