Mahindra XUV400 secures 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating
The Mahindra XUV400 EV has achieved a perfect 5-star safety rating in the most recent round of Bharat NCAP crash tests.
Mahindra has been selling the XUV400 for quite some time; it had already received a 5-star safety rating by the Global NCAP.
The XUV400 scored 30.38 points out of 32 for adult occupant protection, while scoring 43 out of 49 points for child occupant protection.
Moreover, the XUV400 is Mahindra’s only EV on offer.
Standard safety features of the XUV400:
- 2x front airbags
- ABS with EBD
- Electronic stability control (ESC)
- Tyre pressure monitoring system (TMPS)
- All disc brakes
- Front seat belt pretensioners
- Impact sensing auto door unlock
