Maruti Suzuki has launched Swift CNG in India with a starting price of Rs 8.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Swift CNG is offered in three variants: Vxi, Vxi (O), and Zxi.
The VXi (O) CNG is priced at Rs 8,46,500.
In this article, we’ll be taking a closer look at the 2024 Swift CNG in its mid-spec Vxi (O).
Front
On the front, the Swift VXi (O) CNG comes with halogen headlights, and there are no DRLs or fog lamps on offer.
Side
From the side, it comes with body-colored ORVMs (outside rear view mirrors), which integrate the turn indicators.
The door handles are body colored, and the driver-side door handle has a request sensor.
The A, B, and C pillars have been blacked out, while the roof is body-colored.
Rear
The rear-end looks identical to the top model with rear LED tail lamps; it gets parking sensors and two reflectors in the bumper.
Wheels
The VXI (O) variant offers 14-inch steel wheels with plastic covers.
Interior
The Swift Vxi (O) CNG has a black cabin theme and black fabric seat upholstery. The steering wheel has controls for the touchscreen. Additionally, it offers a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Rear seats
The rear seats have fixed headrests.
Engine
Maruti Swift VXi CNG Engine and Transmission: It is powered by an 1197 cc engine, which is available with a manual transmission. The 1197 cc engine puts out 68.80 bhp at 5700 rpm of power and 101.8 Nm at 2900 rpm of torque.
Maruti Swift VXi CNG mileage: It returns a certified mileage of 32.85 km/kg.
Bootspace
The boot of the Swift CNG carries a 55-liter single CNG tank. Moreover, the CNG variants do not get a spare wheel. It offers a tire repair kit instead.
