This is a first-of-its-kind partnership. Mercedes has integrated with Teams Microsoft and together they’ve chosen to embed core collaboration tools into the next-generation MBUX operating system.
The all-new CLA model from Benz now gets a native Microsoft Teams app. This software comes designed to support in-motion video conferencing. It accomplishes this through a built-in cabin camera.

When someone in the car launches a Microsoft Teams meeting via the in-built app, the cabin camera starts streaming live video of the presenter to all remote participants.

In relation, any inbound video feeds or shared slides aren’t shown. The passengers, on the other hand, can comfortably see all the content shown on the central screen.

This Microsoft Teams integration also offers a “Next Meetings” widget. It displays upcoming appointments and provides one-tap access to frequent contacts.
The in-car chat actually reads out messages for you. It can also send back any voice replies on your part.
So, even if you are driving, there are now plenty of options for you to get vital work done without delay or on-road stress.
MS Teams integration by Mercedes-Benz does not come with flimsy safeguards.
Mercedes has always been a pioneer in the automotive industry. They are now pioneers in automotive productivity too thanks to their decision to integrate meetings via Microsoft Teams.
