MG Comet EV price increased in select variants
MG Motor India has increased the price of its Comet EV across all variants. The cost of the Comet EV has been increased from Rs 10000 to Rs 32000, depending on the variant.
Comet EV’s attractive features, including its compact size, impressive range, and modern technology, continue to make it a compelling option in the growing Indian electric vehicle market.
The MG Comet EV is being offered in three variants:
  • Executive
  • Excite
  • Exclusive
Satinder Bajwa Singh, Chief Commercial Officer, JSW MG Motor India Pvt Ltd said, “Our dedication to quality, innovation, and sustainability remains a priority and drives us to improve our offerings continuously. In doing so, minor price adjustments are inevitable to offset the rising input costs. While we try to minimise its impact on our customers, a marginal price increase shields us from inflationary challenges.”

MG Comet EV Battery Pack and Range

MG Comet EV is available with 2 battery-motor configurations. The 17.3kWh battery pack with 3.3kW AC charging and rear-wheel drivetrain makes 42PS of power and 110Nm of torque. This configuration has a single electric motor and a driving range of 230km with a full charge. The 17.3kWh battery pack with 7.4kW AC charging and rear-wheel drivetrain makes 42PS of power and 110Nm of torque. This configuration has a single electric motor and a driving range of 230km.

The Comet EV is packed with plenty of features starting from twin digital displays —one for the infotainment system and the other for the instrument cluster. It supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, over-the-air (OTA) updates, and offers three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. In terms of safety, it comes equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors with a rear camera, TPMS, and more.
