BMW Group India has announced that it will increase prices by up to 3 per cent across the BMW Cars and MINI Cars range from next month.
Moreover, the price hike will apply to all locally produced BMW Cars and MINI Cars and completely built-up units (CBUs) Cars.
The range of locally produced BMW Cars includes the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase, BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase, BMW 7 Series Long Wheelbase, BMW X1, BMW X3, BMW X5, BMW X7, BMW M340i and BMW X1 Long Wheelbase All Electric.
BMW Cars also offers BMW i4, BMW i5, BMW i7, BMW i7 M70, BMW iX, BMW Z4 M40i, BMW M2 Coupe, BMW M4 Competition, BMW M4 CS, BMW M5, BMW M8 Competition Coupe and BMW XM (Hybrid) as completely built-up units (CBU).
The MINI Cars model range in India includes MINI Cooper S and all-electric MINI Countryman which are offered as CBUs.
Notably, this is the second price hike this year by the German automaker. The new prices for BMW Cars and MINI Cars will be effective from April 1, 2025, onwards.
BMW India is a wholly owned subsidiary of the BMW Group with headquarters in Gurugram. The company has invested over INR 5.2 billion (€72 million) in its India operations. BMW Cars currently maintains over 80 touchpoints in the Indian market and employs 650 people.
Carmakers such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Kia India and Honda Cars, have already announced plans to hike vehicle prices from the next month citing rising input costs.
