Audi has announced that it will reveal the third-generation Audi Q5 SUV on September 2. The Q5 is an important model for the Audi brand, since it’s its best selling vehicle.
The premium compact crossover, which slots between the Q3 and Q7 and targets BMW’s X3 and Mercedes’ GLC, will be officially presented on September 2.
The next Q5 will carry a lot of the design language from the current Audi lineup but should look more aggressive than the current Q5. It also appears the team at Audi is moving the daytime running lights above the lamp, like the refreshed Audi Q7.
While Audi is yet to reveal detailed design specifics, significant changes are expected overhaul, both in terms of aesthetics and underlying architecture.
