Skoda Kylaq SUV Deliveries Have Now Begun

Skoda India has started deliveries of the Kylaq in India. The Skoda Kylaq is the most affordable SUV on sale from the Czech automaker in India, retailing between Rs 7.89 lakh and Rs 14.4 lakh (ex-showroom).

The SUV, launched in November last year, garnered significant attention by securing more than 10,000 bookings within just ten days of its debut. The Kylaq features Skoda’s latest ‘Modern Solid’ design language.

Besides that, Skoda India has also reopened the bookings for the base-spec Classic trim.

Skoda Kylaq SUV Dimensions and Boot Space

The Kylaq has a length of 3,995 mm, a width of 1,783 mm, and a height of 1,619 mm while the wheelbase is 2566 mm. It has a ground clearance of 189 mm and a boot space of 446 litres which can be increased to 1,265 litres.

The Skoda Kylaq SUV comes in 7 different color options: Lava Blue, Olive Gold, Candy White, Tornado Red, Deep Black, Brilliant Silver, and Carbon Steel.

Skoda Kylaq SUV Powertrain

The Skoda Kylaq is powered with a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder TSI petrol engine that delivers 115 hp and 178 Nm of maximum torque, and it can be paired with either a manual or automatic transmission. There are no additional engine options available.

On the safety front, the Kylaq is equipped with 6 airbags (as standard), ABS with EBD, electronic stability programme (ESP), hill hold control, multi-collision brakes and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

The Skoda Kylaq competes with the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and the Mahindra XUV 3XO.
