Tata Harrier EV’s new undisguised spy shots give us yet another look at the design and features that will arrive on June 3. The electric premium SUV space has seen numerous entrants and now it’s Tata Motor’s turn to launch the Harrier EV.
First showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the Harrier EV is set to make its official debut next week.
Design
On the design front, the model retains the design elements and silhouette from the facelifted Harrier that was launched late last year.
The Harrier EV gets a closed-off grille, a redesigned front bumper with vertical slats reminiscent of the Nexon EV, and aerodynamically optimized alloy wheel.
Interior
The cabin layout will be carried over from the ICE version but with a new UI for the infotainment system and instrument cluster.
The Harrier EV will be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a JBL music system and electronic parking along with new features like vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V).
Additionally, it will be offered with a new summon mode which allows it to drive by itself without the intervention of a driver.
Battery Pack
The electric SUV is likely to come with a 75 kWh battery pack offering a range of over 500 km on a full charge. Along with this, it will have a dual-motor setup which will provide power for an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. This will likely be available in the ‘Empowered’ trim.
AWD
The Tata Harrier.ev is expected to get a rear-axle-mounted electric motor, hinting at the possibility of an all-wheel drive drivetrain with one electric motor on the front and the other on the rear axle. As it is based on the new Acti.ev platform, it can have front-wheel, rear-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations.
Features
The Harrier EV feature set will include level-2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, powered driver’s seat, dual digital screens and connected car technology with EV-specific features.
Expected Price
The Tata Harrier EV is expected to be priced between ₹24 lakh and ₹30 lakh (ex-showroom).
