Tata Motors recorded domestic sales of 65,019 units in June 2025, down from 74,147 units in June 2024. Passenger vehicle wholesales fell 15% to 37,083 units, the lowest monthly tally since December 2021, while commercial vehicle sales dipped 9% to 27,936 units.

  • Altroz posted modest resilience following a recent facelift rollout.
  • SUVs Harrier and Safari saw delays as customers await upcoming EV variants.

  • Nexon EV retains the volume lead thanks to range and safety.
  • Harrier EV sets benchmarks in the premium EV SUV segment.

  • International CV exports surged 70% on Ace Pro mini-truck demand.
  • Monsoon-driven infrastructure work could lift H2 volumes.

Market Outlook

In a competitive landscape where rivals maintain steady output, Tata Motors must leverage upcoming launches and digital initiatives to reignite growth.

  • Rollout of Curvv EV and refreshed Altroz to drive buyer interest.
  • Enhanced online retail platforms and attractive finance plans for quicker conversions.
  • Festive-season campaigns and transparent subsidy pass-through to sustain momentum.
