The Tata Punch one of the most popular compact SUVs in India is the second best selling Tata car across both petrol and electric options. It is currently offered in four main trims Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative

However, as part of the 2025 lineup revision the Punch Adventure and Punch Adventure S variants have been discontinued

Features of the Discontinued Tata Punch Variants

  • Punch Adventure: This trim came equipped with a 3.5 inch infotainment screen four speakers steering mounted audio controls all power windows, anti glare IRVM rear AC vents and USB charging ports. It also included electrically adjustable ORVMs and follow me home headlamps
  • Punch Adventure S: This higher trim offered extra features like a shark fin antenna, single pane sunroof automatic headlights rain sensing wipers and a height adjustable driver seat

Both variants supported multiple powertrain options 1.2-litre petrol manual, petrol AMT and CNG. The removal of these trims will allow Tata Motors to streamline production and focus on faster moving variants

Tata Nexon Variant Update

Moving to the company’s top performer the Tata Nexon which contributes more than 30% to the brand’s total sales (including ICE and EV models). It’s one of the most popular sub-4-meter SUVs in India and has recently received safety upgrades with the addition of ADAS features

In the latest update, Tata has discontinued the Red color option for Nexon due to low demand. The decision comes as part of the Tata Discontinued Cars 2025 strategy to optimize production resources

Current Color Options for Nexon

Even after removing the Red shade, Nexon continues to offer multiple color choices, including:

  • Pristine White
  • Daytona Grey
  • Grassland Beige
  • Pure Grey
  • Ocean Blue
  • Royal Blue

In addition, Tata offers Dark and Red Dark editions in some trims. Dual-tone color options are also available in the Creative and Fearless trims

The SUV continues to be offered in four key trims Smart, Pure, Creative and Fearless. This move ensures that Tata Motors keeps its most in-demand color combinations and features active while trimming slow-moving options

Highlights Of Tiago NRG Features

  • Rugged bumper with skid plates for a bold design
  • Infinity black roof with roof rails and shark-fin antenna
  • Muscular tailgate finish with satin skid plate
  • Enhanced ground clearance for rough-road capability
  • Inside, it featured charcoal black interiors, a digital steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, and a new digital instrument cluster
  • The model also included a 10.25-inch touchscreen system (segment largest), wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, HD reverse camera, auto-fold ORVMs, and height-adjustable driver seat

Both Tiago and Tiago NRG use the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, producing 86 PS and 113 Nm torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT

In CNG versions output drops slightly to 75.5 PS and 96.5 Nm.

However Tata has now discontinued the Arizona Blue color from the standard Tiago as part of its new model revision. Remaining shades include Supernova Copper, Ocean Blue, Pristine White, Tornado Blue and Daytona Grey
