The Tesla Model Y India launch is now on the horizon after a fully camouflaged, right-hand drive facelifted test mule was spotted unloading at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.

This single-motor rear-wheel-drive variant claims a 466 km WLTP-equivalent range and dashes from 0–100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.

Tesla’s first experience center opens July 15, with deliveries expected from late August 2025.

When will Tesla open its first showroom in India?

Tesla’s inaugural experience center at BKC, Mumbai, throws open its doors on July 15 2025. The outlet handles sales, service and spares under Tesla’s direct-to-customer model.

A Delhi showroom is slated for late July, followed by Bengaluru by year-end.
