Tesla To Inaugurate Its Second Experience Center In Delhi On August 11

- Tesla will open its second India showroom at Worldmark 3, Aerocity, New Delhi.
- Model Y deliveries and charging network rollout are expected to begin later in 2025.
Tesla, the electric car maker famous for its innovation and clean mobility mission is doubling down its presence in India. The company has now set up its second experience center in the capital city after opening its first experience center in Mumbai. This step implies that Tesla is going to attract more customers and foster the use of electric cars in the nation.
Expansion After Mumbai
Tesla will open its second experience center on August 11, 2025 at Worldmark 3, Aerocity, New Delhi.
- The company’s first outlet started operations in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) on July 15, 2025.
- These facilities serve as experience centers to showcase Tesla’s electric vehicle (EV) technology and assist potential buyers.
Deliveries Scheduled For Late 2025
Tesla will commence deliveries of its EVs in the third quarter of 2025.
- The Model Y Standard RWD variant will be delivered first.
- The Long Range RWD variant is expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of the year.
- Initial delivery locations include Delhi, Gurugram and Mumbai.
Focus On Charging Infrastructure
Tesla is also developing a strong charging network to support its vehicles.
- Mumbai’s first supercharging station is already functional at One BKC, featuring four DC V4 superchargers and four AC destination chargers.
- Three more stations are planned in Thane, Lower Parel, and Navi Mumbai by September 2025.
- Delhi will receive 16 superchargers located in Aerocity, Saket, Golf Course Road, and Noida.
- Mumbai will match this capacity, with 16 chargers spread across key commercial and residential locations.
Model Y Price And Range
The Model Y is currently the only Tesla vehicle available for order in India.
- Standard RWD Variant: Priced at ₹59.89 lakh (ex-showroom) with a range of up to 500 km.
- Long Range RWD Variant: Priced at ₹67.89 lakh (ex-showroom) with a range of up to 622 km.
- Both versions are imported as completely built units (CBUs).
Display Units And Support Equipment
To support the experience center launch, Tesla has imported six Model Y units for display and test drives.
- Alongside the vehicles, charging hardware and accessories worth around $1 million have also arrived in India.
- These imports will ensure smooth operations during the early phases of Tesla’s rollout.
