Kia India is set to introduce the facelifted version of the Carens on 8th May. The Carens has been in the market for a few years, receiving minor updates at regular intervals. Now, the korean automaker will update the Carens for its 2025 iteration.

Kia has been continually testing the successor of the Carens MPV. Multiple spy shots have been surfaced on the internet hint at further developments, getting us closer to our estimates about its features and styling.

Moreover, Kia will sell the current and facelifted Carens together.

Additionally, select Kia dealerships have started accepting orders for the facelifted Carens, albeit unofficially. Dealerships are accepting pre-bookings for the updated MPV for a token amount of Rs 25,000.

Design – The 2025 Kia Carens will get a fresh new face, with redesigned headlights, updated LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and a tweaked front bumper.

The overall silhouette of the MPV will stay the same, While the alloy wheels will carry a fresh look. Kia is expected to make some subtle refinements to keep it looking sharp.

The rear could receive vertically stacked taillamps linked by an LED light strip, and a refreshed bumper.

Interior and Features – On the inside, Kia is likely to introduce the “Trinity” panoramic display, similar to the Syros SUV, incorporating a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 5-inch climate control display.

Additionally, the successor to the Kia Carens is expected to receive feature enhancements in the form of a Level 2 ADAS suite, ventilated seats for the first and second-rows and electrically adjustable front seats.

Safety Features – In terms of safety, the MPV will likely include six airbags as standard, electronic stability control (ESC), and front and rear parking sensors. Spotted test mules also suggest the addition of a 360-degree camera and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Expected Price

Prices of the new Carens are expected to start around Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). The existing version of the MPV is available within the price range of Rs 10.60 lakh – Rs 19.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
